365fight is on a mission to End Spiritual Suicide in our own stories and those lives we have influence over. The 365fight Community can help equip and encourage you to Take Back Your Story and #endspiritualsuicide! You weren't made to live and Fight alone. You were made to be known. You were made for community. Together, we can Fight the vicious cycle of Spiritual Suicide. Together, we can remember The Reason to Fight and open our eyes to the incredible opportunities and reasons God gives us to be a blessing in and be blessed through in our own stories. But first, we need to understand what Spiritual Suicide is...
Simply put, Spiritual Suicide is a broken relationship with God
where we've replaced truth with lies in our story.
We all eat lies when our hearts our hungry...
Spiritual Suicide is choosing to Fight in our own story for our own selfish and prideful reasons. It is living in a continual pattern, where our relationship with God is NOT our first priority or is completely absent. It is not Fighting in the story He has equipped us for and Fighting for lies instead. Lies that point away from His story, who He is, who He created us to be, and The Reason (Jesus) & Purpose He created us to Fight for. Spiritual Suicide is a consistent state of living blindly, apathetically or in rebellion where we are NOT seeking forgiveness, restoration and most importantly, a relationship with our Father. Spiritual Suicide is not Fighting authentically, for Christ-focused reasons and worshiping our Creator as He created us, with purpose, to do at all times, in all seasons of life.
Spiritual Suicide causes broken relationships all around us.​​
The Consequence
The sad and destructive consequence of Spiritual Suicide not only affects us but everyone around us. Spiritual Suicide causes broken relationships within our own families and friends. When we are living outside of His grace, not consistently talking the talk and walking the walk, in a posture, attitude and heart surrendering and being fully dependent on Him, we hurt God's Kingdom. We hurt ourselves. We hurt our Father.
God knew when sin entered the world, His children were going to get messy, selfish and rebel (James 2:14-26). They were going to be completely and utterly BROKEN, disobedient, continual hypocrites. He knew there would be Spiritual Suicide. He knew we would find reasons to Fight that point to everything but Him. But of course, in His compassion and goodness, He had a plan and a Hero ready to save His story, and we already know the ending, AMEN!
We All Suffer
The bible is full of reminders and examples of Spiritual Suicide. Stories of thieves, murderers, adulterers, idolaters, prostitutes, liars, betrayers, addicts, ego-maniacs, lost boys (12 disciples) and quite honestly, people who are downright unlovable.

Think those stories stop with the bible? WRONG-OH! Guess what, our current world is full of the EXACT SAME stories and broken people, and YOU are one of them (ouch!). You are suffering from Spiritual Suicide. We all are. I am.

Don't get discouraged or overwhelmed. There's hope! Our sin and inadequacy can't out-fight His fierce grace and love. You are not disqualified from playing your important and uniquely designed part in God's beautiful story because of your brokenness. He can take your Spiritual Suicide mess and turn into an incredible chapter full of blessings in His unfolding story.

He left the 99 to rescue YOU (Matthew 18:12) so you can do the same for others!
Keep Fighting
In the Bible, God continually redeemed and restored messy, dirty, broken people for His story and His glory. What an incredible impact this messed up bunch of Christ Followers had on God’s Kingdom when He took their fear and failure, opened their eyes to The Reason to Fight and redeemed them to Fight the Good Fight and fulfill their part in His story!

Guess what, He's still doing this today!

In God's divine goodness and grace, He can use us, battle scars, brokenness and all. He looks at us and says I choose you because I see you, I hear you, I love you and YOU have an important purpose and role to fulfill in My story. You have The Reason to Fight. I can and I will use YOU in My story because the Truth has Set You Free and others need to hear it! I will give you many opportunities and reasons to Fight so others can come to know Me through YOU!
